Thanksgiving dinner help!!
I put up a poll on the bottom of the page to see which item on the Thanksgiving menu gives us the most trouble. If your menu item isn't listed post a request, otherwise based on that feedback I'll post some creative suggestions.

Ok.. I want to play stump Chef Chris...
Here is the problem: We are vegetarians and we love to celebrate Thanksgiving too. We have experiemented with Tofurkey and we just can't seem to get it to soak up any sort of flavorings.
We need some ideas for Thanksgiving recipees.. .Can you help us? We are allergic to corn, chocolate, bell peppers and bananas. What do you suggest?
Nice one Lisa! Ok, here's my suggestion, I'm guessing that you are roasting it like you would a normal turkey, if that is the case I would brine it (marinate)for an hour before cooking in a "warm", flavorful veggie stock with lots of herbs like thyme, rosemary which will help give it a nice "earthy" flavor. Then prior to roasting I would "sear" it in a hot pan to seal the outside of it to hold in the juices you introduced. Hope this helps.
