My Coffee Walnut Toffee

It was requested by several of my friends for this recipe so here it is:

1 1/4 Cup Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
1/3 Cup Water
1 Tbsp Molasses
2 Tbsp esspresso powder or instant coffee
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/4 Tsp Salt
1 1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, then add remaining ingredients except walnuts to the pan and stir constantly (approx. 20 min) until candy thermometer reads 290 degrees.  When toffee gets to 290 degrees, remove from heat and add walnuts, stir them in and then pour mixture onto a greased baking sheet.  Allow to cool for 1 hr.
As an option you can top the toffee with melted chocolate, after you pour it into the baking sheet.
