A quick guide for warm dips

There are so many different dips and spreads out there that either don't have any flavor or are loaded with ingredients (chemicals) that you can't even pronounce. Here is a simple and quick way to make some really nice hot dips for your next party, or family get together.

Cream cheese isn't just for the holidays but for some reason we relate it to the holidays. Not only is cream cheese such a versatile medium for creativity, but it doesn't share the problem of breaking or becoming oily like cheese can.

All you need to do is put your 8 oz pkg of cream cheese in a pan over low heat to melt it, once it's melted add some milk to get desired consistency. Now the creativity can begin, which is all up to you but here are a few ideas of things you can add to your base to create some excitement:

Garlic & Chopped artichoke hearts = Hot Artichoke Dip
Blue Cheese= Hot Blue Cheese Dip for hot wings!!
Garlic + Chopped Spinach= Hot Spinach Dip
Diced Pancetta + Parmesan + Garlic + Dry Basil= Warm Italian ham dip

Once you learn about putting basics together, then just customizing them is the easy part.
